This presentation given at the 2015 Asia Clean Energy Forum highlights the development of a Certified Energy Savings Verifier (CESV) training and certification program for individuals to be qualified to certify the savings of energy efficiency projects (EEPs). The CESV will fill a significant gap in the global energy efficiency market’s inability to verify the energy savings generated from EEPs, which is a key barrier for investors and facility owners to be willing to fund and implement EEPs on a scaled-up basis.
Energy Efficiency and Demand Side Management
This publication and its companion document, Energy Efficiency Indicators: Fundamentals on Statistics, provide the necessary tools to initiate and/or further develop in-depth indicators to support the decision-making process related to energy efficiency policies, to better inform policy making and help decision makers formulate policies that are best suited to domestic and/or international objectives.
This manual identifies the main sectoral indicators and data needed to develop indicators to measure energy efficiency and help make surveying, metering and modeling practices available to all.
