BBC Media Action, an independent international development organization of the British Broadcasting Corporation, has developed Climate Asia, a study of people’s experience of climate change in seven countries – Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Nepal, Pakistan and Vietnam. The Data Portal provides access to survey data from over 33,500 people by country and by region. It provides detailed reports, research tools, guidelines, and analyzed data. In 2012 Climate Asia surveyed more than 33,500 people using both quantitative and qualitative research to see how people experience climate change. The data portal is open for policy makers, the media, and NGOs to use as a tool to develop their own climate communication initiatives.
