The Asian Development Bank, the US Agency for International Development, and the World Energy Council announce a call for Abstracts for the Asia Clean Energy Forum 2014 (ACEF).
In 2014, ACEF will update its approach to knowledge exchange by introducing more targeted and in-depth discussions about clean energy. The Forum will feature sessions in seven Thematic Tracks, including the six Tracks from last year's forum plus an additional Track examining the role and potential of Natural Gas in the region. Each Track will include three 90-minute sessions, each with a series of short presentations followed by facilitated discussion.
In order to solicit a wide range of input for the Forum, the organizers are issuing this open Call for Abstracts across the Asia region and globally. ACEF is seeking abstracts that describe initiatives that identify and develop solutions for specific barriers, highlight creative and innovative solutions to clean energy challenges, and achieve tangible outcomes that can be scaled up.
All presentations should fall within one of the following Tracks and session topics:
- Energy Efficiency
- Renewable Energy
- Energy Access
- Policy and Regulation
- Special Track: Natural Gas
Those interested in presenting should submit a brief description of their proposed topic with no longer than 150 words and should provide all the information requested. The deadline for submissions is Friday March 14, 2014
