Despite the vast potential and need for Energy Efficiency investment, and the growing importance placed by national and state policymakers on Energy Efficiency, the rate of investment in Energy Efficiency technologies and projects is lagging far short of its potential. The proposed “Partial Risk Guarantee Facility for Energy Efficiency (PRGFEE)” and “Venture Capital Fund for Energy Efficiency (VCFEE)” by the Indian Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) are much awaited mechanisms aimed to address the existing challenges related to EE financing.
The USAID PACE-D TA Program, in collaboration with the Alliance for an Energy Efficiency Economy (AEEE), is organizing a webinar on July 25 to discuss the challenges on Energy Efficiency financing and how BEE’s proposed financing can accelerate the market. Join us for an interactive discussion on the innovative business models for Energy Efficiency financing. The webinar is free and open to the public.
