For this webinar, Steve Winkelman, Director of the Transportation and Adaptation Programs at CCAP, will provide an overview of adaptation and mitigation (A+M) synergies. He will share urban A+M examples in multiple sectors (energy, buildings, water, transportation), adding to his recent blog post. Steve will offer thoughts on how to motivate stakeholders to implement A+M measures, as well as some ideas on policy, research, and capacity building needs. Barbara Oliveira, Chair of the Climate Resilience integration to LEDS Working Group (CR LEDS WG), will be hosting participants and moderating the session.
