The International Partnership on Mitigation and MRV has announced a new online course on the development of Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMAs). NAMAs are a useful way of enhancing mitigation efforts in developing countries, while also promoting the sustainable development targets of the country. This course is designed to provide a basic knowledge and introduction to NAMAs.
Who should join? This is an introductory course that will help participants understand: what NAMAs are, how they can ben used to boost the sustainable development of your sector, how your country can select NAMA ideas, and how a NAMA idea can be developed and carried through to implementation.
How is the course structured? This is a free, online course that is composed of four modules. Each module can be used seperately, or completed consecutively at your own pace.
